Richard L. Eddy, MD, FACP, FACE
Dr. Eddy has extensive post-graduate education and training in Internal Medicine - punctuated by being drafted into the US Navy and assigned to duty as Chief of Medicine, at the US Naval Hospital at the 29 Palms Marine Base in southern California. He was the chief resident in Internal Medicine at the Lahey Clinic Foundation and at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (part of the Harvard system). He then went on to complete extensive training in Endocrinology and Metabolism, all completed in Boston, MA. He was a chief fellow in Endocrinology/Metabolism at the Joslin Clinic (also part of the Harvard system) and the New England Medical Center (Tufts). Alan J. Kelly, MD, FACP
Dr. Alan J. Kelly is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is now pleased to be practicing Endocrinology at the Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Dr. Alan J. Kelly was born in Libby, MT and raised throughout Western Montana. He attended Montana State University where he graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine on a WICHE scholarship. He's lived in Oregon for over 10 years now and has been at the Institute of Diabetes for over 5 years. Dr. Kelly loves the practice of Endocrinology. He loves the challenge of diagnosing complex endocrine syndromes and providing good diabetic and endocrine care. read more of Dr. Kelly's bio here ...

P. Ryan Hungerford, MD, ECNU
Dr. P. Ryan Hungerford has now officially joined the professional staff of the Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Dr. Hungerford just finished his endocrinology fellowship at the University of Utah. He is already board certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism. He and his wife Becky are excited to be here in the Rogue Valley. They have four children and are looking forward to exploring beautiful Southern Oregon. Please help us in welcoming Dr. Hungerford and his family to our clinic and to the area.

Sue Amidon, RN, CDE
The Institute is still very pleased and proud to have Sue as one of our professional staff. She is one of the best diabetic educators in Southern Oregon.
Sue is very knowledgable about diabetes. She is an excellent certified diabetic educator (CDE) and is skilled at teaching patients how to adjust their diet, count carbohydrates, adjust insulin, and manage their oral medications. She is also a certified insulin pump and sensor trainer. Call and schedule an appointment and take advantage of her years of experience.
